Maestra Warner

Hola! My name is Maestra Warner. I am from a small town in southwest Michigan called Homer. I began learning Spanish when I was in 2nd grade, and have been passionate about language learning ever since. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in April of 2017 with a major in Elementary Education and a double minor in Spanish and Reading. I completed my student teaching here at Bishop in the Spanish Immersion program, and upon graduating, spent 3 additional months teaching as a long term substitute in the 2nd/3rd grade SI classroom. This year I am teaching Kindergarten/1st grade, and I cannot wait to see students grow not only as learners, but as lovers of language.

Outside of school I enjoy attending various sporting events (you can often find me at Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings games), and spending time with my friends and family.
