¡Hola! Me llamo Maestra Bonilla. I was a teacher in Lincoln’s secondary for about 17 years when I was invited to start Lincoln’s Spanish Immersion Program and jumped at the opportunity. My own children were raised multilingual. Giving children the gift of languages opens so many doors! I have been a teacher for over 30 years, teaching English, Spanish, social studies, biology, English as a foreign language and ornithology. Prior to being a teacher, I was a national wildlife ranger and a waitress.
I love to hike, bird watch, read, travel, and sing, garden, knit and sew. Above all, I like to be with my family, my husband and children!
